Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton Limited Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard (shoulder, toe) and Darius Slayton (foot, shoulder) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Both players appear to be on track to play in Week 13 against the Seahawks unless they encounter setbacks, but all Giants pass-catchers will have to be downgraded this weekend if Colt McCoy starts under center instead of Daniel Jones (hamstring). Shepard has seen six or more targets in 22 straight games and caught seven passes for 64 yards in last week's win over the Bengals. Shepard has a high target floor, but with McCoy likely starting this Sunday, he'll be a shaky WR3/flex. Slayton was held without a catch in Week 12. He could do some damage against a porous Seattle secondary, but he, too, will be risky if McCoy starts. Consider Slayton a boom/bust WR4/flex.
