4 years agoAlex Perez was just outmatched in his main-event battle on Saturday against flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo. In less than two minutes of action, Perez landed six significant strikes and was 0-for-2 on his takedowns. While attempting to take Figueiredo down, Perez found himself caught in a guillotine choke, forcing him to tap out. Prior to the loss, Perez was on an impressive run and is probably worth future considerations for your rosters. Half of his 24 career wins have come by finish.--Matt Bricker
