Ross Dwelley Should Be Avoided In Week 10
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Ross Dwelley was utilized as the team's primary tight end in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. He logged 42 snaps and caught all three of his targets for a season-high 52 yards. Jordan Reed, meanwhile, saw just 13 snaps and had only one catch for three yards on two targets. The team's last game was a Thursday night game, which gives them a long break prior to their Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The extended break should provide Reed with the time he needs to get back up to speed and reclaim his position as the team's top tight end with George Kittle (foot) sidelined. Dwelley could still end up seeing a decent amount of targets in Week 10, but it's tough to trust. He should be avoided as a starting option this week.
