Chase Edmonds Could Flourish In Week 9
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds could be in position for his biggest game of the year so far in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. The team's No. 1 back Kenyan Drake (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Week 7, prior to the team's Week 8 bye. Drake is currently questionable for Week 9, though he's yet to practice this week so he may be trending more towards doubtful at this point. Edmonds had a fantastic game in Week 7, rushing five times for 58 yards and catching all seven of his targets for 87 yards. He should be extremely active in both the running and passing game this week regardless of whether Drake is on the field or not. He has RB1 upside and is a fantastic RB2 start this week.
