Carlos Hyde Plays Well In Relief In Week 7
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Carlos Hyde has been the primary backup for this roster, but he played like a starter on Sunday night against the Arizona Cardinals. He had 15 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three of his four targets for eight yards. Hyde saw an increased workload against Arizona on Sunday night because of an injury to Chris Carson (foot), and it's unknown how long the starting back will be out. If Carson is forced to miss time moving forward, Carson will be a strong RB2 with some RB1 upside in a Seattle offense that just hasn't had any trouble moving the ball at will in 2020.
