Broncos Defense Has A Tough Task In Week 6
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos Defense caught a tough break with their game against the New England Patriots moving from Week 5 to Week 6 due to positive COVID-19 tests in the Patriots organization. If the game had been played last Monday, it's likely that New England would've been without quarterback Cam Newton, who missed the prior week after testing positive for the virus. Linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu (quadriceps) has been ruled out, while defensive tackle Mike Purcell (knee) is questionable. Denver's D continues to be vulnerable at all levels and are ranked 30th in fantasy scoring through five weeks. They've also only turned the ball over two times. With Newton back in the fold and able to use his legs as well as his arm, the Broncos defense isn't a great starting unit to trust.
