Dalton Schultz Tough To Trust In Week 6 Despite A Good Matchup
4 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz is hard to trust in fantasy starting lineups in Week 6. Even in a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who allow plenty of points to opposing tight ends, Schultz is a risky start because of his recent usage. He ran 29 pass routes in Week 5, but ended up being targeted just three times, catching only one. Before that, he'd made at least four catches or gained at least 48 yards in his previous three starts. He dealt with an injury at the end of the previous game, but it seemed more like a game plan issue in Week 5, as the Cowboys ran with four wide sets a bit more than usual. Schultz could be fine with Andy Dalton under center, but he enters Week 6 with a lower floor than usual and perhaps a limited ceiling as well. He's near the bottom of the TE1 ranks.
