Jimmie Johnson Starts From 17th At Talladega
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson will fire off from the 17th position in Sunday's YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Johnson is looking for one final triumph in his last full-time Cup season. Johnson has a ton of experience and has raced on many different superspeedway packages. In 37 career Talladega starts, Johnson has a pair of wins and 13 top-10 finishes. Johnson also has three Daytona wins, including two Daytona 500s. In June, Johnson was making a move to go to the lead before being spun, relegating him to a 13th-place finish. Johnson's salary in DFS is just above average, but Johnson will have a solid amount of room to improve his position differential. This may be Johnson's best chance to score his 84th career victory, so expect Johnson to leave it all on the track.
