4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon had a strong game in Week 3 against the New York Giants. McKinnon took on a heavier workload with both Raheem Mostert (knee) and Tevin Coleman (knee) out in the game. He rushed the ball 14 times for 38 yards and a touchdown and added three catches for 39 yards on four targets. Jeff Wilson Jr. also had a strong game out of the 49ers backfield, carrying the ball 12 times and totaling 69 yards from scrimmage. However, most of Wilson's production came late in the game. McKinnon should be seen as the team's top running back for however long both Mostert and Coleman remain out.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
