D.K. Metcalf Presents Upside In Week 2
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf isn't the shiftiest receiver in the NFL, but he's quickly developing into one of the league's best threats on the outside. He averages 16.0 yards per reception, and it's difficult to slow down a guy with his combination of size and speed. He caught four of his eight targets in Week 1 for over 90 yards. It's unclear who the New England Patriots will use to cover Metcalf in Week 2, but even if it's Stephon Gilmore, it's unlikely he'll be able to bottle Metcalf up for four quarters. If you have a safe lineup built around him, you can afford to fire up Metcalf this week as a low-end WR2.
