Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball 14 times for 93 rushing yards in the Lions 27-23 loss to the Bears. The veteran also added 21 receiving yards for an impressive debut. Peterson ran hard throughout the game and appeared to secure a role, at least for the next few games, in the Lions backfield. The Lions have talented rookie back D'Andre Swift as well but expect the youngster to split carries with Peterson in Week 2.--Joey C - RotoBaller
