4 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers Defense is in play as a starting fantasy unit in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. While the Chargers D lost a key contributor in safety Derwin James (knee) for the season, they still have a dominant pass rush led by Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. Rookie linebacker Kenneth Murray could make an immediate impact, and nose tackle Linval Joseph will strengthen the interior of the defensive line. The Bolts will probably be more of a low-end starting defensive unit or bye-week filler/streamer in fantasy, but they have sleeper appeal in the season opener against a Bengals team that will be trotting out a rookie under center in Joe Burrow.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
