Miguel Rojas Day-to-Day With Sore Abdomen
4 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas (abdomen) left Tuesday’s game after three at-bats with a sore abdomen and is day-to-day for now. Rojas missed most of the first month of the season with a positive coronavirus test but had been hot since rejoining the team on July 24, posting a 1.010 OPS over his first 14 games. Rookie infielder Jazz Chisholm filled in for Rojas on Tuesday and is likely to start at shortstop for the Marlins as long as Rojas remains sidelined. Fantasy players should expect Rojas to avoid a stint on the injured list, but it remains a possibility until more information regarding the severity of his injury is known.
