Carlos Correa Overcomes Brush-Back, Collects Three Hits
4 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa went 3-for-4 with a double, one home run and two runs batted in as the Astros lost to the Dodgers 5-2 on Tuesday. Correa also narrowly missed a dangerous up-and-in pitch from the Dodgers Joe Kelly. Many Dodgers players were openly critical of the Astros cheating scandal in the offseason and many wondered if retribution would be in the cards. But Correa shook it off to hit the ball on the screws all night and now is 7-for-17 (.412) to start the season with one home run, two doubles and four runs batted in. Correa has come out of the chute swinging a hot stick and is an excellent DFS play over the next few games.
