Robert Dugger Struggles In Sunday's Spot Start
4 years agoMiami Marlins pitcher Robert Dugger was forced to start Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after scheduled starter Jose Urena was a late scratch due to a positive COVID-19 test. Dugger allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and a walk in just 3 1/3 innings. To his credit, Dugger did settle down after a four-run first inning and at least gave the Marlins seven more outs on their way to a victory and a series win. Dugger is unlikely to take another turn in the rotation, Urena's spot will likely go to either Jordan Yamamoto or Nick Neidert. Dugger can be ignored in fantasy formats.
