Ubaldo Jimenez Doesn't Want To Retire
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez, who wasn't included on the team's summer camp roster, said that he wants to continue his career. The veteran right-hander was a star for Colorado from 2006 to 2011, but he hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2017 as a member of the Orioles. The 36-year-old Dominican was known for his funky delivery, and he was an All-Star in 2010 when he went 19-8 with a 2.88 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 214 strikeouts and 92 walks in 33 starts (221 2/3 innings). Jimenez is unlikely to have much of a market for his services at this point in his career, and it's unlikely that he'll be fantasy relevant if another team gives him a shot.
