A Long Night In Martinsville For Denny Hamlin
5 years agoStarting 12th, Denny Hamlin was unable to contend for his sixth Martinsville win in the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500. The No. 11 team was off the mark with their setup to start the race, causing him to drop as low as 32nd. To make matters worse, Hamlin had to deal with overheating issues, which prevented him from ever cracking the top 10. If there is any positive to take away from the race, it is that Hamlin's struggles were largely mechanical and not a reflection of talent.
