Ryan Johansen Finds Scoresheet In Win
5 years agoNashville Predators center Ryan Johansen played a major role in his team's 5-4 defeat of the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, potting a short-handed goal and adding an assist in the victory. In addition to his pair of points, Johansen was a noticeable player throughout the night, registering two penalty minutes, three shots and one block in 16:05 of ice time in the contest. After putting up just one point over an 11-game span, the 27-year-old is starting to show signs of life with three points (two goals, one assist) over his past three tilts. In the midst of a disappointing fifth season in Nashville (29 points in 49 games), Johansen's fantasy value has plummeted, and as a result he's owned in just 33% of Yahoo leagues right now. While he certainly has the potential to get hot, fantasy owners will likely need to see more performances like Wednesday night in order to begin trusting him again.
