Travis Homer Makes Big Catches
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer didn't really get many opportunities to carry the ball on Sunday, but he made a couple huge catches. Homer only carried the ball three times even though he was able to rack up 13 yards, but he played a more critical role by snagging a couple balls out of the backfield. In a game where first downs were sometimes difficult to come by, Homer was able to move the chains on both of his catches, including a late one that featured some fancy footwork along the sideline. Homer's performance wasn't anything legendary, but for a sixth-round rookie who just got the job three weeks ago, it was quite the showing. He could find himself playing a bigger role in Seattle's future next season.
