Latavius Murray Held To 25 Scrimmage Yards In Loss
New Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray picked up 21 rushing yards on five carries and caught one of two targets for four yards in a 26-20 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Murray finishes his season with a disappointing effort, though it ended up being a pretty good year for the 29-year-old. He enjoyed two games as the starter with Alvin Kamara injured, as he proceeded to explode for over 150 scrimmage yards in both games. For the year, Murray posted a career-high 4.4 yards per carry and scored at least five times for the fifth straight year. He and Kamara could potentially benefit from a more run-heavy approach in 2020, as Drew Brees nears his 41st birthday.
