Dustin Johnson Looks To Begin 2020 With A Bang
5 years agoIt has been a difficult stretch of golf for Dustin Johnson, who has failed to finish better than 20th place in his previous eight events. While that isn't the sort of form you hope to bring into the new year, the American does have a built-in excuse for his poor stretch of golf. Johnson battled through a knee injury late in 2019, which eventually forced him to undergo an operation after the Tour Championship. The fifth-ranked player in the world was able to return to the Presidents Cup two weeks ago, going 2-2 during his four matches but finished strong with back-to-back victories in both singles and foursomes play. It is not often that we get the former top-ranked player in the world priced as the fourth favorite in a field, making him an intriguing option to target in this week's no-cut event.
