T.Y. Hilton Played Through Significant Calf Tear
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (calf) said he played through a two-centimeter calf tear late in the season. Hilton started the year on fire with five touchdowns in the first five weeks, but his calf injury basically crippled the rest of his season and let his fantasy owners down. Even with quarterback Jacoby Brissett under center in this run-first offense, Hilton has proven that he can be a solid WR2 for fantasy owners as the team's top passing option. However, you'll be able to get Hilton at more of a WR3 price next year in fantasy drafts thanks to his depressed end-of-season statistics. There's always the risk of injury with Hilton, but when he's healthy, he's usually solid for fantasy owners.
