Reds Discussing Francisco Lindor
5 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds are the latest team to engage the Cleveland Indians about a potential trade for shortstop Francisco Lindor, according to a source. It's unknown if there is any traction for a trade, but the Reds have been aggressive in trades before on Trevor Bauer and Yasiel Puig, and they have attractive trade chips in outfielder Nick Senzel and third baseman Jonathan India. Lindor started 2019 late due to injury, but he finished with a sizzling .284/.335/.518 slash line, 32 home runs, 101 runs, 74 RBI and 22 stolen bases in his 598 at-bats. He's an elite shortstop that could push Cincy to the next level in the National League Central.
