Jordan Wilkins Feels Ready For Thursday
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jordan Wilkins (ankle) has progressed faster than expected after being inactive in Week 12 against the Jaguars, although he was a DNP on the team's estimated Monday injury report. He said his ankle "feels great" and feels "like I'll be ready to go" on Thursday night against the Texans. Marlon Mack fractured his hand last Sunday and is out indefinitely, so it'll either be Wilkins or Jonathan Williams handling most of the early-down carries in the meantime. Our bet is that Williams handles more of the work alongside Wilkins and Nyheim Hines this week on a short turnaround, but Williams and Wilkins could form a committee before long. If you're looking to add a back off the waiver wire this week, Williams is your best target.
