Ronald Jones II Has Earned Bigger Workload
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that running back Ronald Jones II has earned the right to start and play more snaps ahead of Peyton Barber. It's about time. Jones has been the more explosive back for most of the year and just carried the ball 18 times for 67 yards and a touchdown in the overtime loss to the Seahawks. Barber saw only four rushes for 15 yards and is averaging 3.3 yards per carry to Jones' mark of 4.1. If Arians holds true to his word, Jones could have RB2 upside in an excellent matchup against the Cardinals in Week 10. Pick Jones up off the waiver wire if he's available in your league.
