5 years agoDetroit Lions running back Tra Carson (hamstring) landed on the injury report on Thursday and was listed as a limited practice participant. Carson surprisingly saw the most touches in Detroit's backfield in Week 8 in the first game minus Kerryon Johnson, but he still managed just 12 carries for 34 yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game. It's still hard to predict what Detroit will do moving forward, but it could very well be a committee approach involving Carson, rookie Ty Johnson and J.D. McKissic. It's a situation to avoid if at all possible, as the three won't have very high ceilings if they're all involved. Carson will be an RB4/flex in deep leagues if he plays, but Johnson will become a more attractive flex option if Carson can't play.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
