Bears Defense Needs To Rediscover Pass Rush
5 years agoThe Chicago Bears Defense will look to rediscover its pass rush in Week 9 against the Eagles in a must-win game. The Bears are now 3-4, are loser's of three straight and have recorded only one sack during that span. The loss of Akiem Hicks has allowed opposing offenses to triple-team Khalil Mack and it has also opened up running lanes in the rushing game. The Bears will face an Eagles offense that has allowed the 16th fewest fantasy points to opposing defenses this season. Led by quarterback Carson Wentz, the unit has allowed eight sacks over their last three games but can be a highly explosive unit. The Bears defense is still a cut above most teams in the NFL but will have a tough test in Philadelphia in Week 9.
