Trea Turner Sparks Nationals To Tie Series 3-3
5 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner went 2-for-5 with two runs scored as the Nationals took down the Astros 7-2 in Game 6 of the World Series. Turner singled and scored in the first inning to put the Nationals up early. He later doubled in the seventh inning and scored on a two-run double from Anthony Rendon. It was a big-time performance from the leadoff man and Turner now is 4-for-13 (.307) in the World Series at Minute Maid Park with an all-important Game 7 looming. Turner now is hitting .286 in eight postseason road games heading into the final game of 2019 season Wednesday night.
