New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) missed practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 against the Cardinals. Cook is missing his second straight game, while Smith hasn't suited up since Sept. 15. With Cook out, Josh Hill will be the team's top pass-catching tight end. He'd be more attractive as a TE2 streamer if quarterback Drew Brees (thumb) made his return in Week 8 against a team that is the worst at defending the tight end position. Ted Ginn, the team's No. 2 wideout behind Michael Thomas, is only flex-worthy if Brees is back under center.--Keith Hernandez
