Jared Cook, Tre'Quan Smith Ruled Out
New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) missed practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 against the Cardinals. Cook is missing his second straight game, while Smith hasn't suited up since Sept. 15. With Cook out, Josh Hill will be the team's top pass-catching tight end. He'd be more attractive as a TE2 streamer if quarterback Drew Brees (thumb) made his return in Week 8 against a team that is the worst at defending the tight end position. Ted Ginn, the team's No. 2 wideout behind Michael Thomas, is only flex-worthy if Brees is back under center.
