DeSean Jackson, Darren Sproles, Jason Peters Out
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen), running back Darren Sproles (quadriceps) and left tackle Jason Peters (knee) have all been ruled out for Week 8 against the Bills after missing practice all week. Jackson hasn't played since Week 2 and is without a timetable to return. The absence of his field-stretching prowess is really hurting Philly's offense. Alshon Jeffery, Mack Hollins and Nelson Agholor will remain in three-wide sets, but only Jeffery is fantasy relevant. Rookie Miles Sanders will remain the team's pass-catching back without Sproles, but he'll be a low-upside RB3/flex against Buffalo's strong defense. Not having Peters on the blind side is another downgrade to a slumping offense in a bad spot on the road.
