Anibal Sanchez Tabbed For NLCS Game 1

Washington Nationals starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez will start Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against the Cardinals on Friday. The veteran 35-year-old allowed just one run and four hits while striking out nine over five innings in his start in the NLDS against the Dodgers. In 30 regular season starts in 2019, Sanchez had a 3.85 ERA. He's not flashy and is overshadowed in a rotation featuring Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg and Patrick Corbin, but Sanchez has veteran savvy and can be considered a DFS sleeper against a Cardinals team that just threw up 13 runs in their Game 5 NLDS clincher.
