5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Jean Segura (ankle) is not expected to suit up during the weekend series versus the Miami Marlins. Segura left Thursday's game early due to what is being called a sprained ankle. The Phillies are eliminated from postseason contention, so there is no reason for Segura to play again this season. Scott Kingery will cover shortstop and bat second versus righty Pablo Lopez on Friday. Kingery has been heating up again, so he's a decent fantasy option for Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
