Darrel Williams Plays Well in Surprise Start
5 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams wasn't announced as the starting running back until basically game-time on Sunday. He played well in the 33-28 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. He rushed nine times for 62 yards and caught five passes for 47 yards, but didn't find the end zone. LeSean McCoy (ankle) and Darwin Thompson were involved in the rushing game as well. However, McCoy didn't play in the fourth quarter because of his ankle. Damien Williams (knee) was sidelined for the game and now the Chiefs might be without McCoy. Unfortunately, Williams fantasy value hangs in the balance of injuries, so he's not worth grabbing in most formats right now. He'll only have value if McCoy and Damien Williams sits out again in Week 4.
