OG Anunoby 2019 Player Outlook
Toronto Raptors small forward OG Anunoby is set for an expanded role and is projected to be the starting small forward for the Raptors for the 2019-20 season. Anunoby went through an extremely difficult season on and off the court, as he was limited to just 67 regular season games, while missing the NBA Playoffs entirely due to an emergency appendectomy in early April. Anunoby averaged 7.0 points and 2.9 rebounds on 45% shooting from the field as a member of the second unit and made just six starts over the course of the regular season, compared to the 62 games started in his rookie season. The 22-year-old is fully healthy now and with an entire offseason to get back into game shape while factoring in the departures of Leonard and Green, OG Anunoby will be a popular draft selection in the late rounds of standard leagues for his breakout potential.
