Yuli Gurriel Remains Sidelined on Wednesday
5 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Gurriel is dealing with hamstring soreness and hasn't played in a game since being removed during Friday's contest. Aledmys Diaz will draw the start at first base and bat sixth versus lefty Brett Anderson. Diaz has cooled down with the bat, so he's not a reliable DFS option right now. Gurriel likely isn't going to return until the weekend, according to manager AJ Hinch. Diaz should see a couple more starts at first base this week.
