Mike Tauchman Likely Done for the Season
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman (calf) is expected to miss the rest of the 2019 season following an injury. Tauchman suffered a Grade 2 left calf strain, so it's unlikely he plays again this season. He's suffered the injury on Sunday and is expected to miss roughly two months. Tauchman struggled as of late, but he did put together a fairly decent season despite his recent struggles. Cameron Maybin will cover left field and bat eighth versus lefty Eduardo Rodriguez on Monday. Maybin hasn't been able to do much with the bat as of late.
