Bears Defense Allows 10 Points In Discouraging Loss
5 years agoThe Chicago Bears Defense allowed only 10 points and picked up five sacks in the team's 10-3 loss to the Packers in Week 1. The Bears defense came out frothing at the mouth to begin the game, suffocating quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the first few drives. But a deep pass by Rodgers set up the only touchdown score of the game, which turned into the difference in the game. The performance affirms that the defense is as ferocious and dangerous as it was last year but the offense failed the team in this game. The Bears will have a favorable matchup against veteran quarterback Joe Flacco and the Broncos next week.
