Texas Rangers outfielder Hunter Pence (back) has been officially placed on the injured list, retroactive to Aug. 24. Pence suffered the injury last week and wasn't making enough progress, so the team decided to give him some extra rest. It's unclear how long he's going to be sidelined, but hopefully it's not longer than 10 days. Isiah Kiner-Falefa has been recalled from the minors to take over the spot on the active roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
