Joe Ross Expected to Be Fine
5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross (leg) is scheduled to make his next start versus the Chicago Cubs on Saturday. He took a comebacker off his right leg during his start on Monday. He was removed from the contest, but it appears to be a day-to-day type of issue. Ross is expected to stay in the rotation once Max Scherzer (back) returns from the injured list. Erick Fedde is most likely going to shift from the rotation to the bullpen.
