Brett Gardner Records Three Hits In Yankees Win
5 years agoThe New York Yankees reeled off a sixth consecutive victory Monday night against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. While the club scored nine runs, veteran outfielder Brett Gardner led the way with three hits from the six-spot. In the sixth inning he hit one of five home runs on the night for the Yankees, a solo shot that pushed his club's then-lead to 5-1. The 35-year-old just recently returned from the IL with inflammation in his left knee. With Aaron Hicks now hurt, he figures to once again be a regular on this club.
