Jorge Soler Hits 465-Foot Home Run
5 years agoKansas City Royals slugger Jorge Soler hit the longest home run of his career on Saturday when he murdered a meatball into the upper deck of the left field stands at Target Field. The solo knock traveled an estimated 465 feet, a blast of mammoth proportions. Unfortunately, KC would go on to lose the game because they're not a very good baseball team, but Soler is having quite a season for them. He now has 29 home runs on the season and looks like he should top 40 without much trouble. He's also been extremely consistent, from a power standpoint, hitting six, seven, or eight homers each month this season. Lastly, he's on a roll right now, putting up multi-hit games in four of his last six contests.
