David Dahl Likely Headed To IL
5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl turned his ankle while making a sliding catch on Friday and had to be carted off the field. The oft-injured All-Star was replaced by Ian Desmond, and after the game, manager Bud Black told reporters that x-rays were negative. While this was good news, he quickly agreed that it was a sprain and said a trip to the Injured List was likely. The 25-year-old outfielder has only logged more than 120 games in a single season of professional baseball once in an eight-year career between the minors and majors. He's had a solid season this year, but this is what all Dahl owners were waiting for.
