5 years agoKansas City Royals star shortstop Adalberto Mondesi has been participating in light workouts and the pain and inflammation in his shoulder is reducing, according to Jeffrey Flanagan. Mondesi has been sidelined due to a shoulder subluxation after he attempted to make a diving catch earlier this month. There is still no timetable for his return, but he is expected to be re-examined on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. The breakout star hit seven home runs and stole 31 bases before his injury, and it's unlikely that the injury will prevent him from running more when he returns.
