J.T. Realmuto Starts At 1B, Homers On Wednesday
Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto made his second start of the season at first base on Wednesday with Andrew Knapp behind the plate. Realmuto went 1-for-4 in the game, hitting his 12th home run of the season. Realmuto has underperformed a bit this year compared with his high expectations, but he's still a big difference-maker at the catcher position and should be relied upon as a strong starter for his owners every week. His .283 xBA suggests some room for growth from his current .267 average and if he can lower his strikeout rate (currently 23.7%) to where it was last year (19.6%), he'll stand to gain even more value.
