5 years agoOn Thursday, the Detroit Tigers placed outfielder JaCoby Jones (low back strain) on the 10-day Injured List. Jones has been a mainstay in the Tigers' lineup all year, starting in centerfield and typically batting ninth, but starting in mid-June, he began leading off a good amount. Jones doesn't contribute much in fantasy terms, with a .247/.316/.448 slash line and nine home runs, 23 RBI and 28 runs on the season. He can be dropped anywhere he was owned. The Tigers called up Victor Reyes to take his place on the roster and Reyes should get a good amount of starts in centerfield while Jones is out.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
