J.D. Davis Ignites Mets Comeback Victory
5 years agoThe New York Mets trailed 2-0 for a substantial portion of Tuesday night's game at Citi Field against the New York Yankees. From the second until the eighth they trailed, but in the sixth they got on the board as outfielder J.D. Davis homered to right. In the eighth, the Mets rallied to take the lead for good as they scored three runs to go ahead by two. Davis was once again in the middle of the action, as he drilled a game-tying double. The 26-year-old isn't seeing frequent action, but has batted .444 across the last seven games as he's making the most of his playing time.
