Tyler Herro Showcases Shooting In Summer League Opener
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro silenced doubters in his Summer League opener, scoring 18 points in 25 minutes. Herro also contributed four assists, three rebounds and a steal but, most notably, was 5-for-10 from three-point range. Herro was given ball-handling responsibilities at times while also knocking down shots in the half court and transition offenses. Herro's short wingspan was notable at times on defense and inside the three-point line on offense, going just 1-for-5 on two-point shots. Regardless, Herro showed he should carve out a role on Miami's 15-man roster. Given the Heat's free agency moves, it remains to be seen what kind of role awaits Herro.
