Kansas City Royals rookie Nicky Lopez is starting to get the hang of the big leagues. After a slow first month in the majors, Lopez has dramatically improved at the plate. Since June 15, Lopez has hit .305 and safely hit in all but three games. Lopez still makes some youthful mistakes, like getting picked off third in the top of the ninth on Sunday, but he's even starting to hit with a little more pop, knocking three extra-base hits in his last six games. He's not a fantasy stud just yet, but growth is essential. Given some more seasoning, Lopez could work his way into quite a few fantasy lineups.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
