Corey Kluber Resumes Throwing
5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber (arm) has been cleared to resume a throwing program and played catch from 60 feet on Thursday. Kluber still has a long ways to go, but this is good news nonetheless. The 33-year-old right-hander has been out since May 1 with a fractured arm, and he was pitching to an un-Kluber-like 5.80 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 35 2/3 innings (seven starts) before he was struck by a comebacker. You'll have to keep the Klubot stashed in all formats and hope he's more effective in the second half whenever he's able to make his return.
