Michael Conforto Drives In Three In Defeat
5 years agoThe New York Mets offense showed up Monday night at Citizens Bank Park with outfielder Michael Conforto leading the way. The former All-Star doubled home the first run of the game, giving his team an early lead. In the fifth, with his club trailing, he tied the game with a solo blast to left center. The 26-year-old would also draw a walk and score two runs himself, but the Mets ultimately fell, 13-7. Conforto has picked up the offense as of late, batting .293 across his last 15 games, with four home runs and 11 RBI.
